Husqvarna Motorcycles has unveiled the 2025 Vitpilen 801, a stylish and performance-oriented streetfighter. The bike, known for its distinctive design language, receives subtle styling updates for the new model year.
The 2025 Vitpilen 801 features a striking new bi-LED projector headlight with an oval-shaped LED DRL, giving it a unique and modern appearance. The fuel tank retains its edgy design, characteristic of Husqvarna motorcycles, and the side panel seamlessly blends into the tail section, further enhancing the bike’s aesthetic appeal.
Beneath the sleek exterior lies a robust steel chassis suspended by adjustable WP Apex USD forks and a monoshock rear suspension. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels equipped with Michelin Road 6 tires and is equipped with powerful twin disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear.
Powering the Vitpilen 801 is a 799cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that delivers a thrilling 105 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 87 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and is renowned for its character, distinctive sound, and punchy mid-range performance.
The bike is packed with features, including LED lighting, multiple ride modes, cornering traction control, and ABS with Supermoto mode. The Supermoto mode deactivates the rear ABS, allowing riders to lock the rear brake and slide the bike.
All settings for the various modes can be easily accessed and adjusted through the Bluetooth-enabled TFT display.
The Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 competes directly with other popular streetfighters like the KTM 890 Duke, Triumph Street Triple R, and Kawasaki Z900.
