Bajaj Auto is all set to launch its most powerful Pulsar motorcycle yet, the NS400. Scheduled for a May 3rd, 2024 release, the NS400 has generated significant buzz amongst motorcycle enthusiasts. While Bajaj has remained tight-lipped about most specifications, several sightings have offered glimpses of what to expect from this highly anticipated streetfighter.
Engine: Powering the Ride
While official confirmation is pending, speculations suggest the NS400 will likely borrow the 373.3cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine from its sibling, the Dominar 400. This engine churns out 40 hp and 35 Nm on the Dominar, but the NS400 might receive a different tuning for a potentially sportier character.
Features: A Modern Touch
Bajaj has been steadily upgrading its Pulsar range with contemporary features, and the NS400 is expected to follow suit. Anticipation suggests an all-LED lighting setup, a fully-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, and features like call and SMS alerts, navigation, and even traction control. For a smooth ride and confident handling, the NS400 is likely to boast USD forks on the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Stopping power will come from disc brakes on both wheels, potentially with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. Borrowing from its smaller siblings, the NS400 might also feature multiple ABS modes for better adaptability to different riding conditions.
Design: A Streetfighter’s Stance
In the design department, the NS400 is expected to inherit the aggressive, muscular lines and commanding presence that have become synonymous with the Pulsar range. Drawing inspiration from its younger sibling, the NS200, the NS400 is likely to offer a head-turning streetfighter look that will appeal to performance-oriented riders.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400: A New Contender in the 400cc Segment
With its anticipated powerful engine, modern features, and aggressive design, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is poised to shake up the 400cc motorcycle segment in India. The upcoming launch on May 3rd, 2024, will officially unveil the complete picture, making it a significant date for motorcycle enthusiasts in India and around the globe.
