Mercedes-Benz has introduced the 2024 E-Class Long Wheelbase (LWB) in the Indian market, priced starting at Rs 78.5 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated luxury sedan offers a range of design enhancements, technological advancements, and improved comfort features.
Exterior Changes
The 2024 E-Class LWB features a slightly longer wheelbase, providing more rear legroom. The exterior design has been refined with a new front grille, slimmer headlights, and flush-fitting door handles. The car is also available in a new Nautic Blue color option.
Interior Upgrades
Inside, the most notable feature is the MBUX Superscreen, a wide-screen infotainment system that spans the dashboard. Rear-seat passengers benefit from powered outer seats, headrest cushions, and upgraded amenities like powered sunblinds and four-zone climate control. The car also offers dual wireless charging pads and a 730W Burmester 4D sound system.
Safety Features
The 2024 E-Class is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver assistance systems like adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning.
Engine Options
The new E-Class is available with three engine options: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol engine, a 2.0-liter diesel engine, and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol engine. All engines are paired with an automatic gearbox and benefit from a mild hybrid system for enhanced performance.
The updated E-Class LWB offers a combination of luxury, technology, and comfort, making it a compelling choice in the premium sedan segment.
