Sugar Design Reimagines the BMW Neue Klasse as a Wagon

BMW Neue Klasse 3er Touring

BMW is poised to revolutionize its design language with the upcoming Neue Klasse electric vehicles. The automaker has already unveiled two concept cars showcasing this dramatic new aesthetic, hinting at the future of models like the 3-Series and X3. While these concepts have generated excitement, one fan-made design has truly captured attention: the Neue Klasse Touring by Sugar Design.

Sugar Design, a talented designer, took the original Neue Klasse sedan concept and transformed it into a stunning station wagon. The resulting design, rendered in both silver and red, offers a glimpse into what a future BMW 3-Series Touring could look like.

Both versions of the Neue Klasse Touring feature a sleek and modern silhouette with distinctive design elements. The silver version incorporates four angel eyes for the headlights, a throwback to a popular design trend from a decade ago. The red version, on the other hand, features the same DRLs as the original concept, which may be closer to what we can expect in a production model.

Sugar Design made subtle modifications to the original show car to create the wagon version. The side windows were slightly lowered, and different wheels and black rocker panels were added. The silver car also features regular wing mirrors, while the red car has rear-facing cameras. Both versions boast a large panoramic glass roof.

While the Neue Klasse Touring may not be the most conventionally attractive car in its class, it certainly represents a significant improvement over BMW’s recent designs. The bold and futuristic styling, combined with the practicality of a wagon body, make it a compelling vision of what the future of BMW could hold.
