Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1® Team driver Fernando Alonso has received his highly anticipated Aston Martin Valkyrie, a hypercar that embodies the pinnacle of F1® technology and design. The car was delivered in Monaco, where Alonso drove it out of the iconic Monte Carlo Bay Hotel.
Alonso’s Valkyrie features a bespoke specification created in collaboration with the design team at Aston Martin’s Q by Aston Martin bespoke service. Inspired by his Formula 1® race car, the AMR24, the Valkyrie is painted in Satin Aston Martin Racing Green with contrasting AMR Satin Lime Graphics. The car’s aerodynamic highlights are further emphasized with Speed Red and Light and Dark Blue painted graphics in the Venturi Tunnel. Exposed Carbon Fiber adorns the roof, engine cover, and lower aero, while a Titanium Aston Martin Wings badge sits proudly on the nose.
The interior of the Valkyrie is just as impressive as the exterior. Exposed carbon fiber dominates the cabin, complemented by swathes of Pure Black Alcantara with contrasting AMR Lime stitching. Alonso’s personal logo is embroidered into the headrests in the same AMR Lime thread.
One of the most intricate details on the Valkyrie is the red anodized aluminum accelerator pedal etched with the number “14.” This number holds special significance for Alonso, as it was chosen at the age of 14 when he became karting world champion.
“It’s hard to put into words how much I have been looking forward to this day,” said Fernando Alonso. “To sit at the wheel of my own Valkyrie; one that I have worked on designing so closely with the team at Q by Aston Martin is certainly a day to remember. Valkyrie truly is an F1® car for the road, with so much of the knowledge and technology taken from all the experience Aston Martin has on track and I can’t wait to hit the road.”
The Aston Martin Valkyrie is a formidable machine, capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in under 2.5 seconds. Its hybrid 6.5-liter V12 powertrain develops a maximum power of 1,155PS, delivering an exhilarating driving experience.
Valkyrie is being built at Aston Martin’s UK Headquarters in Gaydon. Each car is meticulously handcrafted by a team of highly skilled technicians, with each build taking over 2000 man hours to complete. Before delivery, each Valkyrie undergoes rigorous track testing at the Aston Martin high performance facility at Silverstone.
Q by Aston Martin offers customers the opportunity to create truly unique and personalized Aston Martin vehicles. From bespoke paint colors and graphics to intricate interior details, the possibilities are virtually endless.
