Triumph Motorcycles has commenced bookings for the all-new Daytona 660 in India. The aggressive middleweight supersport can be reserved at authorized dealerships for an initial token of Rs. 25,000. With its arrival at dealerships nearing completion, an official price announcement is awaited soon, expected to be around Rs. 9.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Daytona 660 shares its 660cc inline-three engine with the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, producing 95 PS and 69 Nm. It features a steel perimeter chassis, upside-down front forks, and a monoshock rear suspension. Braking duties are handled by dual 310mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc, all with ABS. The motorcycle weighs 201kg and has a seat height of 810mm.
Expected to rival the Kawasaki Ninja 650 (priced at Rs. 7.16 lakh), the Daytona 660 boasts a feature-packed package. It includes a digital TFT instrument console, My Triumph Connectivity System (optional), ride-by-wire throttle with three riding modes, twin LED headlamps, and traction control.
