Royal Enfield has finally unveiled the highly anticipated Interceptor 650 Scrambler, a thrilling addition to its lineup. This scrambler-styled motorcycle, based on the popular Interceptor 650 platform, offers a blend of classic design, modern technology, and off-road capability.
The Interceptor 650 Scrambler boasts a distinctive aesthetic with a unique paint scheme, a stylish exhaust system, and striking spoke wheels wrapped in off-road tires. The scrambler-style seat and number board side panels further enhance its rugged appeal. The bike features LED lighting throughout and a larger front brake disc for improved stopping power.
Powering the Scrambler is the same reliable 650cc parallel-twin engine as the Interceptor 650, delivering 47 bhp and 57 Nm of torque. However, the Scrambler benefits from a new two-into-one exhaust system, which not only adds to its distinctive sound but also contributes to a slight weight reduction.
The suspension setup has been revised to suit off-road riding, with Showa USD forks offering increased travel compared to the Interceptor. The bike also features a higher seat height to accommodate off-road riding positions. Dual-channel ABS comes standard, with the option to switch off the rear ABS for more adventurous riding.
The Interceptor 650 Scrambler is equipped with a full-color TFT instrument cluster, complete with an integrated navigation system. This modern feature adds convenience and functionality to the bike.
The Interceptor 650 Scrambler is set to be launched on November 5th, 2024, and will be available in five different color options, each with its own unique pricing.
