Bestop is set to revolutionize off-roading with the launch of its power retractable soft top, the eTop, on November 8th. This innovative roof system promises to eliminate the hassle of manually raising and lowering soft tops on vehicles like the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler.
The eTop is designed to provide off-road enthusiasts with the ultimate convenience, allowing them to effortlessly operate the roof with a simple push of a button. The system features laser-cut steel linkages and durable electric motors that are expected to last for at least 10,000 cycles.
The roof itself is constructed with a triple-layer fabric, with the outer layer being chemically treated for water repellency and UV resistance. The tinted vinyl windows offer both privacy and sun protection.
Bestop’s acquisition of myTop has enabled the development of this groundbreaking technology. While specific pricing details haven’t been released, it’s estimated that the eTop for the Bronco could cost around $4,995. Similar options are expected for the Wrangler and Gladiator.
More information about the eTop and its availability will be unveiled at the upcoming SEMA Show. Bestop plans to offer both OEM and aftermarket versions, catering to both professional installers and DIY enthusiasts.
