KTM Announces Coenen Twins for 2025 MXGP and MX2

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has announced that the talented Belgian twins, Lucas and Sacha Coenen, will join their team for the 2025 MXGP and MX2 FIM World Championship. The brothers will be racing the KTM 450 SX-F and KTM 250 SX-F, respectively, under the guidance of the successful team manager Davide De Carli.

Lucas Coenen, who narrowly missed the 2024 MX2 championship title, will make a highly anticipated transition to the MXGP class. His impressive speed and racecraft have earned him numerous podium finishes and victories. Sacha Coenen, meanwhile, has shown significant improvement in recent seasons, securing his first MX2 GP wins and finishing 8th overall in the 2024 standings.

Both brothers have demonstrated exceptional talent and potential since their debut in the world championship. Sacha’s starting prowess is unmatched, while Lucas’s racecraft and speed have made him a formidable competitor.

Lucas Coenen expressed his excitement about joining Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and the opportunity to race the KTM 450 SX-F. He acknowledged the challenges of the MXGP class but expressed his determination to learn and grow.
