Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, VinFast, is set to make a significant presence at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo Global 2025. Commencing on January 17th, the expo will serve as a platform for VinFast to showcase its diverse range of electric vehicles, encompassing cars, two-wheelers, and more.
Confirmed highlights of VinFast’s display include the compact VF 3 mini-SUV and the spacious three-row VF 9 SUV. Further amplifying the brand’s electric vehicle vision, the striking VF Wild electric pickup concept, previously unveiled in the US, will also be showcased. This imposing pickup truck boasts a substantial 5,324mm length and a width of 1,997mm, along with a unique feature: an adaptable bed that can expand from 5 feet to 8 feet by automatically folding down the rear seats, claiming the largest bed size in its segment.
Beyond the automotive realm, VinFast will also showcase its foray into electric two-wheelers at the expo. While specific models remain undisclosed, the presence of electric two-wheelers signifies VinFast’s intention to explore this growing segment of the Indian market.
VinFast’s commitment to the Indian market is further solidified by its strategic investments in local infrastructure. The establishment of an EV assembly facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, underscores the brand’s long-term vision for the Indian market.
The flagship VF 9 is equipped with a substantial 123 kWh battery pack, offering two range options: 531 km and 468 km on a single charge depending on the variant. Both variants are powered by a robust dual-motor setup, delivering a combined output of 402 horsepower. In contrast, the compact VF 3 features a more modest powertrain, generating 40 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque.
