Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to unveil its first all-electric SUV, the e-Vitara, at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. This highly anticipated electric vehicle was previously known as the eVX concept and was showcased earlier this year.
A Bold Design Statement
The e-Vitara boasts a rugged and futuristic design with thick cladding, chunky wheel arches, and distinctive Y-shaped LED headlights. The connected taillights and the charging port, conveniently located on the front left fender, further enhance its modern appeal.
A Feature-Packed Interior
Inside, the e-Vitara offers a premium and tech-laden cabin. Key features include a dual-screen dashboard, wireless charging, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, cruise control, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and an advanced Level 2 ADAS suite.
Powertrain Options
Maruti Suzuki will offer the e-Vitara with two battery pack options: a 49kWh unit and a 61kWh unit. The 49kWh battery will power a front-wheel-drive (2WD) configuration, while the 61kWh battery will be available in both 2WD and 4WD variants. The 4WD models will utilize Maruti’s proprietary ALLGRIP-e 4WD system.
With the e-Vitara, Maruti Suzuki aims to strengthen its position in the growing electric vehicle market and offer customers a compelling alternative to traditional gasoline-powered SUVs.
