Mercedes-Benz is set to unveil its most powerful four-cylinder engine in India tomorrow with the launch of the 2024 AMG C63 S E Performance. This marks the 14th and final launch for the brand in 2024.
The new C63 S E Performance boasts an aggressive exterior design, featuring a prominent Panamericana grille, sporty body kit, quad-tip exhaust, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin is a driver’s paradise, combining carbon fiber and Alcantara accents with the latest MBUX infotainment system, a head-up display, a Burmester sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and red ambient lighting.
Under the hood, the C63 S E Performance ditches the traditional V8 engine for a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a hybrid motor. This potent combination delivers a staggering 670 horsepower and 1,020 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds.
