Mercedes-Benz has launched the new C 300 AMG Line and updated the C 200, C 220d, and GLC in India. The range-topping C 300 AMG Line replaces the C 300 Diesel and brings upgrades to the brand’s best-selling products.
Mercedes C 300 AMG Line
The C 300 AMG Line boasts a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system. This engine produces 258 bhp and 400 Nm of torque, with an additional 27 bhp available for 30 seconds through an overboost function. The 9-speed automatic transmission propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
The new C 300 AMG Line exudes luxury with new color options like Patagonia Red Bright and Sodalite Blue. The sporty exterior features updated front and rear bumpers, while the interior boasts a night package, Burmester 3D surround sound, digital lighting, keyless entry, and a curve assistant.
Further enhancing comfort, the new center console offers fast-charging USB ports and climate-controlled seats with three-level heating and ventilation. The Mercedes me app allows for Digital Key Handover, enabling remote unlocking and activation of stored keys. A 360-degree camera with a virtual 3D bird’s-eye view provides panoramic visibility. The new Mercedes C 300 AMG Line is priced at Rs 69 lakh.
Updates for the 2024 Mercedes C 200 and C 220d
The 2024 C 200 and C 220d receive upgrades like air-conditioned seats, a 360-degree camera, and fast-charging USB-C ports. Adaptive high beam assist, digital keys, and additional rear side airbags further enhance safety. The 2024 C 200 is priced at Rs 61.85 lakh, while the 2024 C 220d is priced at Rs 62.85 lakh.
Updates for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC
The 2024 GLC gets air-conditioned front seats for year-round comfort and additional rear side airbags for improved passenger protection. The GLC 300 4MATIC and GLC 220d 4MATIC are priced at Rs 75.90 lakh and Rs 76.90 lakh respectively (all prices ex-showroom).
