Kia is gearing up to unveil its all-new Syros SUV on December 19th, 2024. The latest teaser video offers a glimpse into the SUV’s interior, revealing several key features.
The interior of the Syros appears to be modern and tech-focused, with a large, likely 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system taking center stage. The dashboard features ambient lighting, while the center console houses a wireless charging pad, Type-C USB charging ports, and a gear lever for an automatic transmission. The engine start-stop button and 360-degree camera controls are conveniently located on the center console. The steering wheel sports a new design with an offset Kia logo and multifunction controls, including a Terrain Mode selector.
The exterior design of the Syros is equally striking, drawing inspiration from Kia’s latest electric vehicles. The front fascia features vertically oriented headlamps with projector elements and LED DRLs, flanked by a large central air intake. The side profile showcases flared fenders and a floating roof design, while the rear end features L-shaped taillights and a sporty rear bumper.
In terms of size, the Syros is expected to be positioned between the Sonet and Seltos, offering a spacious and comfortable cabin. Kia has confirmed that the Syros will be packed with advanced features and technologies, catering to the needs of modern, tech-savvy buyers.
While specific engine details haven’t been officially revealed, it’s likely that the Syros will offer both petrol and diesel powertrain options. More information about the SUV’s powertrain and specifications will be unveiled closer to its official launch.
