Alfa Romeo has introduced a refreshed version of its Tonale crossover for the 2025 model year. While the updates are relatively minor, they aim to enhance the Tonale’s competitiveness in the luxury small SUV segment.
The most notable change for the 2025 Tonale is the redesigned lower center console, which now features a rotary selector instead of a traditional gear lever. Additionally, Alfa Romeo claims to have optimized the instrument cluster for improved visibility of on-board information.

Interior Quality and Design
The Tonale’s interior remains largely unchanged from the previous model year. While the materials used may not be as luxurious as those found in some competitors, the overall design and fit and finish are still commendable. The cabin offers a comfortable and stylish space for occupants.

Simplified Lineup
Alfa Romeo has simplified the Tonale’s European lineup for 2025, eliminating the flagship Tributo Italiano trim. Buyers can now choose from either the base Sprint or the sportier Veloce models.

US Market Updates
Unfortunately, the updates to the Tonale will not be available in the United States until the 2026 model year. For the 2025 model year, the US lineup has been significantly reduced, with only one core version available.

While the updates to the Alfa Romeo Tonale for 2025 are relatively minor, they do aim to improve the vehicle’s appeal in a competitive market. Whether these changes will be enough to help the Tonale stand out remains to be seen.
