Nissan has commenced the export of the facelifted Magnite subcompact SUV to South Africa. This marks the first overseas market to receive the updated model, and over 2,700 units have already been shipped within a month of its domestic launch.
The facelifted Magnite, which is visually identical to its Indian counterpart, offers a stylish design with LED headlights, a prominent grille, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The interior features a dual-tone color scheme, a user-friendly 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and a range of convenience features like wireless charging, a cooled glovebox, and an air purifier.
Under the hood, the Magnite is offered with two petrol engine options: a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated unit and a 1.0-liter turbocharged unit. Both engines are paired with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions, offering a variety of powertrain options to suit different preferences.
Nissan plans to export the Magnite to over 65 international markets, including left-hand drive regions. The company’s aggressive export strategy aims to capitalize on the global demand for compact SUVs and strengthen its presence in international markets.
With its stylish design, feature-rich interior, and efficient powertrains, the Nissan Magnite is well-positioned to attract buyers in various markets.
