Dodge throws another party into the mix, adding the 2025 Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey to their lineup of special-edition SUVs. This marks the fourth such model released to celebrate two decades of HEMI engines powering the iconic Durango.
“This isn’t the first, and certainly won’t be the last, special edition for the 2025 Durango,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge brand CEO. “The Durango SRT Hellcat remains king of the American three-row gas SUV segment, offering the most muscle and best-in-class towing capacity of 8,700 lbs.”
The Brass Monkey joins its siblings, the Silver Bullet, Hammerhead, and R/T 20th Anniversary models, as a limited-production offering with unique touches. All these special Durangos can be located through the Dodge Horsepower Locator tool on DodgeGarage.com, which updates dealer inventories weekly.
Bronze Takes Center Stage
A favorite accent color from previous Dodge models makes a comeback on the Brass Monkey. Dark bronze accents complement the Red Oxide exterior paint job, while other highlights include:
- Brass Monkey-branded 20×10-inch wheels
- Brass Monkey exterior badges
- Sepia Laguna leather SRT seats with silver Hellcat logos on the backrests
- Leather and suede steering wheel with silver/sepia stitching
- A menacing Satin Black painted hood
- Black Brembo brakes and exhaust tips
- Dual silver/sepia stitching throughout the interior
- Premium wrapped instrument panel
- Forged carbon fiber accents with light black chrome details
- A luxurious suede headliner
Muscle Under the Hood
The Brass Monkey shares the heart of its special-edition brethren – the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V8. This powerhouse propels the Durango from 0 to 60 mph in a blistering 3.5 seconds, conquers the quarter-mile in 11.5 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 180 mph.
Performance and Comfort Combined
Just like its siblings, the Brass Monkey offers a plethora of performance features and premium amenities, including:
- SRT Performance Pages for real-time performance data
- Customizable Drive Modes to maximize control
- Race Options for fine-tuning Launch Control and Shift Light settings
- An 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission with paddle shifters
- Seven Drive Modes to adapt to any situation
- A 10.1-inch touchscreen with navigation and wireless smartphone connectivity
- Wireless charging pad
- A booming 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system
- Second-row console with armrest and sunroof
- Standard safety features like Blind-spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning with automatic braking, and Adaptive Cruise Control
The 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey starts at a cool $113,720 (excluding destination charge) and can be ordered at dealerships now.
