2025 Tata Nexon Launched at Rs 7.99 Lakh: More Value, More Choices

2025 Tata Nexon

Tata Motors has unveiled the 2025 Nexon, the latest iteration of its popular subcompact SUV. Following the updates to the Tiago and Tigor, the Nexon receives a refresh with revised features, new variants, and a refreshed color palette. While the powertrain remains unchanged, the 2025 Nexon boasts several enhancements across its lineup.

Exterior and Interior Upgrades:

The 2025 Nexon introduces four new exterior colors: Carbon Black, Creative Blue, Royal Blue, and Grassland Beige, expanding the color options alongside existing choices like Daytona Grey, Pure Grey, and Pristine White. Flame Red and Fearless Purple have been discontinued.

Tata has also restructured the variant lineup, discontinuing the Pure, Pure S, Creative Plus, and Fearless trims. In their place, the brand introduces new Pure Plus and Pure Plus S variants, offering features like a front center armrest, rear-view camera, height-adjustable driver’s seat, auto-folding ORVMs, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Pure Plus S further enhances the package with rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, and a sunroof.

The Creative Plus variant now comes standard with a panoramic sunroof, TPMS, keyless entry, front fog lamps, front parking sensors, and a wireless charger. Bi-functional LED headlights with ‘X-Factor’ connected tail lights are also included. The standard Creative variant gains a 360-degree camera but misses out on dynamic turn signals and a six-speaker sound system. The Creative+ S variant adds a sunroof, automatic headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers.

The top-spec Fearless Plus PS now boasts a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, sequential LED DRLs, ventilated front seats, a nine-speaker JBL sound system, connected car technology, and an air purifier.

Powertrain Options:

The 2025 Nexon continues to be powered by a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. A 1.2-liter turbocharged engine is also available for the CNG variant. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, and a DCT for the turbo petrol engine. The diesel engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or AMT, while the CNG version is offered with a 6-speed manual only.
