Maruti Suzuki, India’s leading automaker, has officially opened bookings for the 2024 Dzire. Ahead of its official launch on November 11th, details about the car’s variants and technical specifications have been leaked online.
The 2024 Dzire will continue to be powered by a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 80 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or an AMT gearbox.
Customers will have four trim levels to choose from: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. All variants come equipped with an Idle Start-Stop system to improve fuel efficiency.
In terms of dimensions, the Dzire measures 3,995mm in length, 1,735mm in width, and 1,525mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,450mm. The car has a gross vehicle weight of 1,375kg.
The 2024 Dzire will compete with the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor. It will offer a segment-first electric sunroof, along with new LED headlamps, a revised grille, new alloy wheels, LED taillights, automatic cruise control, climate control, a blind-spot monitor, and a large touchscreen infotainment system.
