Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition Spotted at Dealership

Mahindra Scorpio N Black Edition

Mahindra is set to amplify the appeal of its highly successful Scorpio N SUV with a new Black Edition. Teased on social media, this special edition promises a striking, all-black aesthetic both inside and out. Recent sightings of the vehicle at a dealership have given us a clear picture of its design details ahead of its official launch.

While the Scorpio N is currently available in six colors, including two shades of black, the Black Edition takes the darkness a step further. It eliminates the chrome accents found on the standard gloss black models, opting for a completely blacked-out look. This includes the bumpers, side moldings, window trim, alloy wheels, and roof rails. The front grille and door handles also sport a dark chrome finish, further enhancing the SUV’s stealthy appearance. The all-black theme continues inside the cabin, where chrome elements are replaced with black, creating a truly dark and sophisticated atmosphere.

Feature-wise, the Black Edition is expected to mirror the top-end Scorpio N variant. This means it will likely include amenities such as dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a sunroof, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 12-speaker Sony sound system.

Under the hood, the Black Edition will retain the existing engine options. Customers can choose between a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 200 hp and 370 Nm (with the 6-speed manual) or 380 Nm (with the 6-speed automatic), and a 2.2-litre diesel engine generating 172 hp and 370 Nm (with the 6-speed manual) or 400 Nm (with the 6-speed automatic).
