KTM is gearing up to unveil its latest off-road weapon, the 390 Enduro R, at the upcoming EICMA 2024. This highly anticipated motorcycle has recently been spotted in full, revealing its rugged design and impressive specifications.
Design and Features:
The 390 Enduro R adopts the classic Enduro design language, featuring a minimalist bodywork with a small headlight cowl, a high-set fuel tank, and a flat seat. This design philosophy emphasizes functionality and off-road performance. The motorcycle is equipped with spoked wheels, a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, providing optimal traction and control on challenging terrains.
Engine and Performance:
Powering the 390 Enduro R is the same 399cc single-cylinder engine found in the 390 Duke. This engine delivers 45.3 horsepower and 39 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. While the engine specifications remain similar, KTM may fine-tune the gearing ratio to optimize the bike’s off-road performance.
Market Availability:
While the 390 Enduro R is expected to be a hit in European markets, its availability in India is uncertain. Given the growing popularity of adventure motorcycles in India, KTM may consider introducing the 390 Enduro R to the Indian market. However, as of now, the primary focus seems to be on European markets.
The KTM 390 Enduro R is undoubtedly an exciting addition to the 390 lineup. With its off-road-focused design, powerful engine, and advanced features, it promises to deliver an exhilarating riding experience for adventure enthusiasts.
