Kawasaki Ninja 300 Gets a Price Cut in India

Kawasaki India has announced a price reduction on its popular Ninja 300 motorcycle. The bike is now available with a flat discount of Rs 15,000, bringing its ex-showroom price down to Rs 3.28 lakh.

This isn’t the first time Kawasaki has offered discounts on the Ninja 300. Last month, the motorcycle was available with a Rs 10,000 discount as part of festive offers. This latest price cut could be a strategy to clear existing inventory before the launch of an updated model.

The Ninja 300, though relatively unchanged since its debut, remains one of the most affordable twin-cylinder motorcycles in India. Its price has even decreased compared to its initial launch price of Rs 3.50 lakh in 2013, thanks to the shift from a completely built-up unit (CBU) to local manufacturing.

Powered by a 296cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, the Ninja 300 delivers 38.88 bhp and 26.1 Nm of torque. A six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch ensures smooth gear shifts. The bike’s tubular diamond-type chassis, 17-inch wheels, telescopic front forks, monoshock rear suspension, and dual-channel ABS braking system contribute to its sporty and agile handling.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 competes with other popular sports bikes in the Indian market, including the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Yamaha R3, and Aprilia RS 457.
