Hero MotoCorp, India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, is gearing up for the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, set to begin on January 17. The brand is anticipated to use the platform to unveil an array of new products aimed at expanding its premium bike portfolio. Alongside existing models like the Mavrick 440 and Karizma XMR, Hero MotoCorp is likely to reveal upcoming launches, including new electric two-wheelers under its Vida sub-brand.

This showcase underscores the brand’s commitment to innovation in both the petrol and electric segments, appealing to a broader audience and meeting evolving market demands.

Hero Xtreme 250R and Karizma XMR 250

Hero MotoCorp’s much-anticipated 250 cc lineup, the Xtreme 250R and Karizma XMR 250, is expected to debut at the Expo ahead of their market launch. The Xtreme 250R, a streetfighter, and the Karizma XMR 250, a fully-faired sports bike, are set to feature a sporty and aggressive design. Both models will use a 250 cc liquid-cooled engine producing 19 bhp and 25 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bikes will be equipped with USD forks, an adjustable rear mono-shock, and dual-disc brakes with ABS for enhanced performance and safety.

Hero’s larger and more powerful Xpulse 210, first unveiled at the 2024 EICMA, will also be on display. This upgraded iteration features a larger frame, refined design, and a host of new features. It is powered by a 210 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 24.5 bhp and 20.4 Nm torque, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The Xpulse 210 promises to elevate the adventure bike experience with its robust performance and improved capabilities.

The Hero Xoom 160, a premium scooter that combines a maxi-scooter design with off-road versatility, will also be showcased. Powered by a 156 cc single-cylinder engine, it generates 14 hp and 13.7 Nm of torque. With a sharp ADV-style design, including a beak-like front and twin-headlamps, the Xoom 160 aims to carve a unique niche in the Indian market.

Hero MotoCorp’s Vida sub-brand will present the Vida Z, a minimalist electric scooter based on modular architecture. Unveiled at the 2024 EICMA, the Vida Z supports battery options ranging from 2.2 kWh to 4.4 kWh, catering to varying range needs. This new EV is set to reflect Hero’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions while offering a stylish and practical option for urban commuting.
