Harley-Davidson has unveiled a new addition to its adventure touring lineup: the Pan America ST. Designed with road-focused touring in mind, this model caters to riders who prioritize long-distance comfort and performance on paved surfaces.

Key changes distinguish the ST from its more off-road-oriented siblings. It rolls on new 17-inch cast aluminum wheels, fitted with Michelin Scorcher Sport tires (120/70 front, 180/55 rear) optimized for tarmac. The suspension travel has been shortened to enhance on-road handling, though the electronically adjustable preload, along with manual compression and rebound damping, remains.

The Pan America ST retains the powerful 1,252cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine, delivering around 150 horsepower at 8,750rpm and 128Nm of torque at 6,750rpm. A comprehensive suite of electronic rider aids is also included, featuring lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, linked braking, hill hold control, cruise control, engine braking control, five preset riding modes, and three customizable modes.

Positioned in price between the standard Pan America and the higher-spec Special and CVO models, the Pan America ST is expected to arrive in India later this year through Hero MotoCorp’s distribution network. However, its premium features and Harley-Davidson branding mean it will likely command a significant price tag.
