BMW Motorrad has recently unveiled the 2025 S 1000 RR, a refined version of its iconic liter-class sportbike. While the mechanical underpinnings remain largely unchanged, the 2025 model boasts a striking new design and enhanced features.
The most noticeable change is the redesigned front fascia, featuring a more bulbous headlamp cowl and larger winglets for improved aerodynamics and downforce. The asymmetrical fairing design, reminiscent of the 2009 model, adds to the bike’s aggressive appearance. Additionally, the front fender now incorporates brake cooling ducts to optimize performance on the track.
The 2025 S 1000 RR comes equipped with a range of advanced electronic rider aids, including traction control, slide control, ABS with brake slide assist, multiple ride modes, hill start control, a quickshifter, launch control, and a pit lane limiter. The Pro riding mode and M Quick-Action throttle are now standard features.
Powering the 2025 S 1000 RR is a 999cc inline-four engine that delivers 206.51 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. The bike’s performance remains impressive, with a top speed of 200 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.1 seconds.
The 2025 BMW S 1000 RR is available in three variants in India: Standard, Pro, and Pro M Sport. While the specific pricing for the new models has not been announced yet, they are expected to command a premium over the current generation.
