BMW Motorrad has launched the latest iteration of its iconic S 1000 RR superbike in India at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. Priced at Rs. 21.10 lakh (ex-showroom), this high-performance motorcycle will be available as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU) and is now open for bookings with deliveries commencing in April 2025.
The redesigned S 1000 RR features a sharper, more aggressive look with a compact design and twin-headlamp setup. Aerodynamic enhancements include a higher windscreen, side winglets, and a revised lower triple clamp, resulting in a 23.1 kg increase in downforce at high speeds. Available in three striking colors – Black Storm Metallic, Bluestone Metallic (with Style Sport), and Light White solid / M Motorsport (with M Package) – the new S 1000 RR commands attention.

Powering this beast is a 999 cc inline-four cylinder engine that generates a potent 210 hp and 113 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter. To harness this power effectively, the S 1000 RR incorporates a suite of electronic rider aids, including traction control, launch control, hill start control, a pit lane timer, and multiple riding modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race). This potent combination propels the S 1000 RR from 0 to 100 km/h in a blistering 3.3 seconds and enables a top speed exceeding 300 km/h.

Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group India, stated, “The new BMW S 1000 RR embodies the relentless pursuit of improvement and reinforces its position as a leading superbike. It is a thrilling machine designed for racing enthusiasts seeking the ultimate adrenaline rush. With enhanced performance and refined aesthetics, BMW Motorrad has once again elevated the benchmark for this iconic motorcycle.”
