BMW Motorrad has showcased the F 450 GS Concept at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Initially unveiled at the 2024 EICMA show in Italy, this adventure bike marks a significant step for BMW Motorrad. Developed in Germany and set to be manufactured by its Indian partner TVS, the F 450 GS Concept boasts a newly developed 450cc twin-cylinder engine delivering 48 horsepower.
Engineered for spirited performance, the engine emphasizes strong low-end torque while prioritizing lightweight construction through the use of magnesium. The chassis, also entirely new, is designed for agile handling both on and off-road. High-quality suspension components, including fully adjustable USD forks and a load-dependent rear shock absorber, contribute to the bike’s impressive ride dynamics.

The F 450 GS Concept weighs in at a mere 175kg, resulting in an exhilarating power-to-weight ratio. Cutting-edge technology is evident with features like lean-sensitive ABS, customizable riding modes, and a 6.5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.
BMW Motorrad intends to closely mirror the production version of the F 450 GS to the concept, with minor adjustments such as improved seat height accessibility and the option of cast aluminum wheels alongside the standard 19/17-inch spoked wheels. The production model is slated for launch next year, with an anticipated price tag of around Rs. 4 lakh (ex-showroom).
