Honda has finally launched the much-anticipated Activa e: electric scooter in India at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Following its debut in November 2024 and the commencement of bookings earlier this month, the Activa e: is priced competitively at Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom). For those seeking a more comprehensive package, Honda offers the Activa e: RoadSync Duo variant at Rs 1.52 lakh (ex-showroom), which includes complimentary Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings.

The Activa e: embodies a minimalist design philosophy, characterized by clean lines and a lack of unnecessary embellishments. Key design elements include an apron-mounted LED headlight and a sleek handlebar-integrated LED daytime running light. Enhancing rider convenience, the Activa e: features a modern TFT instrument cluster equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts, and SMS notifications.

Powering the Activa e: is a robust 6kW electric motor strategically positioned on the swingarm. This setup enables impressive performance, with the scooter achieving a 0-60kmph sprint in just 7.3 seconds and a top speed of 80kmph. To cater to diverse riding styles, the Activa e: offers three distinct riding modes: Eco, Standard, and Sport.

The heart of the Activa e:’s range lies in its dual 1.5kWh swappable batteries, delivering a combined claimed range of 102km on a single charge. To facilitate seamless battery swaps, Honda is actively expanding its network of battery-swapping stations across the country.
