Bajaj Auto has quietly discontinued the Pulsar F250, the semi-faired sibling of the N250, from its lineup. This decision comes after the motorcycle failed to capture the expected market share, despite initial optimism surrounding the launch of the new-generation Pulsar family in late 2021.
The arrival of the quarter-liter Pulsars, including the F250, aimed to reignite the passion of Pulsar enthusiasts. However, the F250 struggled to gain traction, while surprisingly, the legendary Pulsar 220F, which was briefly discontinued, experienced a resurgence in popularity.
Bajaj made significant efforts to enhance the appeal of the 250cc models, evident in the N250’s modern features and improved riding dynamics. Unfortunately, these enhancements did not translate to similar success for the F250.
Our inquiries with Bajaj dealerships confirmed that new bookings for the F250 have ceased, and only limited stock remains. While an official announcement from Bajaj is awaited, the removal of the F250 from the company’s website strongly suggests its discontinuation.
Meanwhile, Bajaj is gearing up to launch an updated version of the iconic Pulsar RS200, the only fully-faired Pulsar currently available. This long-awaited refresh is expected to bring several feature upgrades to the sportsbike.
