Suzuki has once again reigned supreme at the Bol d’Or endurance race, claiming its 20th victory in the prestigious event. The Yoshimura SERT Motul team, representing Suzuki, secured the win with a stellar performance from riders Gregg Black, Dan Linfoot, and Étienne Masson.
This victory marks the second EWC title for Yoshimura SERT Motul and the 13th overall for the team, solidifying their status as one of the most dominant forces in endurance racing. The achievement is particularly impressive considering Suzuki’s near-exit from racing in 2022.
The 2024 Bol d’Or drew a significant crowd of 78,000 spectators throughout the weekend, highlighting the enduring popularity of endurance racing. Suzuki France has capitalized on the success of the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team by offering special graphics packages inspired by the racing team’s victories.
The victory showcases the exceptional talent and dedication of the Yoshimura SERT Motul team. Black, Linfoot, and Masson have consistently demonstrated their prowess in endurance racing, with Black and Masson securing their fourth Bol d’Or wins. Linfoot, meanwhile, achieved podium finishes in all four races of the 2024 FIM EWC season.
Suzuki’s decision to continue its involvement in the EWC has paid off handsomely. The team’s dominance and the popularity of the Bol d’Or have helped to elevate the profile of endurance racing and solidify Suzuki’s position as a leading motorcycle manufacturer.
