Volkswagen Unveils Taos Teaser Ahead of Debut

2025 Volkswagen Taos

Volkswagen has officially unveiled the 2025 Taos, showcasing a refreshed design that maintains its appeal as a popular crossover. The facelifted model features a slender grille flanked by new headlights, giving it a more modern and sophisticated appearance.

The 2025 Taos is expected to go on sale later this year and is likely to be priced competitively, starting under $25,000. This will continue to make it an attractive option for buyers seeking a stylish and affordable compact SUV.

While the teaser image revealed the updated front end, spy shots have provided additional glimpses of the design changes. The new headlights with X-shaped accents are particularly striking, and the front bumper appears more aggressive. While the rear end is less visible, it’s likely to receive updates as well, potentially including revised taillights and a new bumper.

Inside, the 2025 Taos is expected to feature a modernized interior with a new infotainment system and upgraded switchgear. This will enhance the overall driving experience and keep the Taos competitive with other models in its segment.

Under the hood, the 2025 Taos is likely to retain the same powertrain options as the current model. This includes a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive models come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while all-wheel drive variants have a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The 2025 Volkswagen Taos offers a combination of style, performance, and value. With its refreshed design and potential interior upgrades, it is well-positioned to continue its success in the compact SUV market.
