KTM is set to unveil its highly anticipated next-generation 390 Adventure range at India Bike Week 2024. The event will also witness the debut of the 390 Enduro R. The official unveiling is scheduled for 6:06 PM on the main stage.
While the exact details are yet to be confirmed, strong speculations point towards the launch of the India-specific 390 Adventure X at IBW. Given its absence at EICMA, India seems the logical platform for its global debut. The 390 Adventure R, on the other hand, is expected to arrive in mid-2025.
Powering the new 390 Adventure range and the 390 Enduro R is likely to be the familiar 399cc, liquid-cooled engine from the 390 Duke, producing 45.9 horsepower and 39 Nm of torque. However, KTM is likely to optimize the final drive ratio and sprocket sizes to suit the specific requirements of each model.
Leaked information suggests that the 390 Adventure X will feature 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, non-adjustable USD front forks, and a preload-adjustable monoshock rear suspension. The bike is expected to offer an 825mm seat height and a feature set that includes an LCD instrument cluster and non-cornering dual-channel ABS with supermoto mode.
The 390 Enduro R, designed for off-road enthusiasts, will come equipped with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tires. It will boast a flat seat, a compact LED headlight, and minimal bodywork for enhanced off-road performance. Fully adjustable suspension with 230mm of travel at both ends is expected to provide superior handling and comfort.
The official launch of the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure range and the 390 Enduro R is scheduled for January 2025. KTM is still considering the possibility of introducing the 390 SMC R to the Indian market.
