Zelio Ebikes has recently launched the updated X Men 2.0, a low-speed electric scooter priced between Rs 71,500 and Rs 91,500 (ex-showroom). This new model comes just months after the launch of its predecessor.
The X Men 2.0 is available in four variants: two lead-acid battery options and two lithium-ion battery options. The lead-acid variants are priced at Rs 71,500 and Rs 74,000, while the lithium-ion variants cost Rs 87,500 and Rs 91,500, respectively.
Powering the scooter is a BLDC motor. The lithium-ion batteries offer a faster charging time of 4-5 hours, while the lead-acid batteries take about 10 hours. Zelio claims that a full charge consumes around 1.5 units of electricity. With a top speed limited to 25 kmph, the X Men 2.0 doesn’t require a driving license or RTO registration.
The scooter has a kerb weight of 90 kg and a payload capacity of 180 kg. However, its hill-climbing ability with full load is yet to be disclosed.
The X Men 2.0 features a front alloy wheel with disc brakes on both ends and a hub-mounted motor on the rear wheel. The suspension setup includes a telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear, promising a decent ride quality.
Additional features include an anti-theft alarm, reverse gear, a parking switch, and a digital display. The scooter is available in four color options: green, white, silver, and red.
The Zelio X Men 2.0 competes with other low-speed electric scooters like the Hero Electric Atria, Okinawa Lite, and Tunwal Lithino Li.
