Updated Hero Xpulse 210 Teased Ahead of EICMA

Hero Xpulse 210

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, is set to unveil an updated version of its popular adventure motorcycle, the Xpulse 210, at the upcoming EICMA 2024. The company has recently released a teaser image, hinting at the design and features of the new model.

Design and Features:

The new Xpulse 210 retains its rugged off-road-focused design with minimal bodywork. However, the teaser reveals a sharper and more aggressive front fender design, giving the bike a fresh look. The motorcycle will continue to feature a round headlight with a tall windscreen, a large fuel tank, and LED lighting.

One of the significant upgrades is the addition of a TFT instrument cluster. This modern display provides essential information such as speed, rpm, fuel level, engine temperature, gear position, and possibly ride modes or ABS modes. The cluster will also offer smartphone connectivity, allowing riders to stay connected on the go.

Engine and Performance:

Addressing the power deficit of the previous generation, Hero has equipped the new Xpulse 210 with the 210cc engine from the Karizma XMR. This engine delivers a healthy 25 horsepower and 20 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This power boost promises improved performance, making the Xpulse 210 a more capable off-road machine.

Launch and Competition:

The new Xpulse 210 is expected to be officially unveiled at EICMA 2024 and is likely to go on sale in India early next year. While the bike doesn’t have direct competition in the Indian market, it could potentially rival models like the Kawasaki KLX 230 in terms of performance and off-road capabilities.

With its updated design, powerful engine, and advanced features, the new Xpulse 210 is poised to further strengthen Hero MotoCorp’s position in the adventure motorcycle segment.
