Honda has made a groundbreaking announcement at the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. The company has unveiled the world’s first V3 motorcycle engine equipped with an electric compressor.

This innovative 75-degree, water-cooled V3 engine is designed for larger displacement motorcycles. It is remarkably compact and slim, thanks in part to the groundbreaking electric compressor. This compressor allows for precise control of intake air compression, independent of engine RPM, resulting in instant torque delivery even at low RPMs. Additionally, the electric compressor eliminates the need for an intercooler and enables more efficient component layout within the limited space of a motorcycle.
