Bengaluru, India – German-based transportation company FlixBus has officially launched its services in South India, starting with Bengaluru as a key hub. The company aims to connect major cities and towns across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh through a network of modern, comfortable buses.
Initially, FlixBus will offer routes between Bengaluru and Coimbatore, Madurai, Tirupati, Vijayawada, and Belagavi starting September 10. As a promotional offer, passengers traveling to or from Bengaluru can enjoy fares as low as ₹99. The company has ambitious plans to expand its operations to 33 South Indian cities, establishing over 200 connections.
Beyond South India, FlixBus also announced plans to launch services in 101 new cities nationwide, increasing its total number of stops to 215. The expansion was welcomed by Karnataka Minister MB Patil, who participated in the launch event. In a social media post, Patil expressed his enthusiasm for FlixBus’s arrival in Bengaluru, highlighting the company’s potential to improve public transportation options and connectivity in the region.
