Motohaus, a leading Indian automotive company, has achieved significant success with its recently launched VLF Tennis electric scooter. Within a month of its launch in November 2024, the scooter has garnered over 300 bookings.
The VLF Tennis, a stylish neo-retro electric scooter, is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Powered by a 1.5 kW hub motor and a 2.5 kWh battery pack, it offers a range of 130 km and a top speed of 65 km/h. The scooter is assembled at Motohaus’ plant in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
In addition to VLF, Motohaus has also introduced the British brand Brixton Motorcycles to the Indian market. Brixton offers a range of motorcycles, including the Crossfire 500X, Crossfire 500XC, Cromwell 1200, and Cromwell 1200X.
The Crossfire 500X is a cafe racer, while the Crossfire 500XC is a scrambler, both powered by a 47 bhp, 500 cc twin-cylinder engine.
The Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200X are larger, retro-styled motorcycles with a 1,222 cc twin-cylinder engine producing 82 bhp.
Brixton is also planning to launch the Storr 500, a neo-retro adventure motorcycle, in India. This motorcycle is expected to compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and similar models.
