Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has officially entered the Indian market with the unveiling of two electric SUVs, the VF7 and VF6, at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo. The VF7, a five-seater crossover, showcases a striking design with a shark-fin antenna, split LED headlights, wraparound LED taillights, a full-width LED lightbar, a roof spoiler, and flush-fitting door handles.
The VF7 offers two trim levels: Eco and Plus. The Eco variant features 19-inch wheels, while the Plus variant rides on 20-inch wheels. Inside, both variants boast a dual-tone brown and black interior. The Eco variant is equipped with a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, while the Plus variant upgrades to a larger 15-inch display. Both models come standard with a head-up display, over-the-air updates, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and a panoramic sunroof.

Powertrain
The VF7 Eco is powered by a single electric motor producing 201bhp and 310Nm of torque. The Plus variant receives dual motors, delivering a combined output of 349bhp and 500Nm of torque. Both variants utilize a 75.3kWh battery pack. The Eco variant offers a claimed range of 450km, while the Plus variant has a range of 431km on a single charge (WLTP cycle).
