Ultraviolette’s New Electric Motorcycles: Patent Images Revealed

New Ultraviolette motorcycle patented

Ultraviolette is gearing up to expand its electric motorcycle lineup with two new models. In addition to a streetfighter version of its F77, the company is developing an all-new touring motorcycle. Recently surfaced patent images offer a glimpse of this touring machine, revealing a design significantly different from the F77. The new bike draws inspiration from Ultraviolette’s Concept X project, showcased at EICMA 2024, and the patent images provide some key insights.

The patent images confirm that the upcoming street naked bike will carry over the sharp, futuristic design language seen on the F77. Ultraviolette has previously stated its intention to leverage learnings from the F77 Mach 2 for this naked street bike. The images also suggest that the battery placement will be similar to the F77.

While the F77 is an electric sportbike, this new project is clearly a naked street bike. To adapt it for street use, Ultraviolette has made several key changes. The patent images show an upright handlebar, a departure from the F77’s low-set clip-ons, suggesting a more comfortable riding position for longer journeys. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels and features USD forks and a monoshock at the front and rear, respectively. Disc brakes will provide stopping power.

Details about the bike’s features are still scarce. However, it’s anticipated that the new Ultraviolette will include a touchscreen TFT display with Bluetooth smartphone connectivity and navigation. The street naked motorcycle is expected to launch towards the end of 2025.
