Stark Future Unveils Varg EX: A Road-Legal Enduro

Stark Future Varg EX

Stark Future, the electric motorcycle company backed by Royal Enfield, has expanded its lineup with the introduction of the Varg EX, a road-legal enduro motorcycle.

Building upon the off-road focused MX model, the Varg EX offers enhanced features, a larger battery pack, and extended range. This dual-purpose motorcycle is designed to tackle challenging off-road terrains while maintaining practicality for road use.

Powered by a 7.2kWh battery pack, the Varg EX is available in two variants: Alpha and Standard. The Alpha variant delivers a peak power output of 80 horsepower, while the Standard variant produces 60 horsepower. With five riding modes, the motorcycle can adjust its power output between 10 and 80 horsepower to suit various riding conditions.

Weighing in at a mere 120 kilograms, the Varg EX is remarkably lightweight. It features a steel trellis frame and rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels. Kayaba suspension components provide 300 millimeters of travel upfront, ensuring optimal off-road performance. A unique feature of the Varg EX is the Stark Arkenstone, a removable smartphone that serves as the instrument cluster.

While the Stark Varg EX is set to launch in Europe next year, competing with high-performance KTM models, it is unlikely to be available in India in the near future.
