JSW MG Motor India has celebrated a significant milestone, with its Windsor EV reaching a production volume of 15,000 units in India. The electric vehicle, manufactured at the company’s Halol, Gujarat plant, continues to be a popular choice, garnering approximately 200 bookings daily.

Since its launch in September 2024, the Windsor EV has enjoyed strong demand, prompting JSW MG Motor India to ramp up production in the near future. However, production is expected to temporarily slow down this month as the Halol facility undergoes modifications. These upgrades are in preparation for the launch of two new models under the MG Select channel, slated for the first half of 2025.

Biju Balendran, Deputy Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, expressed his satisfaction with the Windsor EV’s performance, thanking customers for their support in achieving the 15,000-unit milestone. He attributed the vehicle’s success to its competitive pricing and comprehensive package, highlighting its appeal to buyers seeking a luxurious, business-class experience. Balendran also emphasized the positive impact of initiatives like Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS), the buyback program, and the lifetime warranty in building consumer confidence in EVs. He reiterated the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality products to customers efficiently as they expand their portfolio.
