The Indian electric vehicle market is witnessing a surge in popularity, with all-electric cars becoming increasingly accessible and desirable. Despite the ongoing development of the charging infrastructure, many buyers are drawn to EVs for their quick charging times, potential long-term savings, and environmental benefits.
Following the successful launch of the Tata Curvv EV earlier this year, several other electric vehicles are set to hit the Indian market in the coming months, just in time for the festive season.

This luxurious SUV boasts a distinctive design with a large black panel grille, chrome strips, and a two-tone paintwork. Inside, the EQS 680 features a triple-screen setup and dual 11.6-inch displays for rear passengers.
While the international-spec model offers a powerful 658 PS electric motor and a claimed range of 600 km, Mercedes-Benz has yet to reveal the specific powertrain specifications for the India-spec version.

The Windsor EV is expected to be powered by a 50.6 kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor producing 136 PS and 200 Nm. While the Indonesia-spec model offers a claimed range of 460 km, the India-spec version may have a slightly different range due to ARAI certification.

Chinese automaker BYD has teased the facelifted e6 in India, although the launch date and expected price are yet to be confirmed.
This updated electric MPV features refreshed styling, new LED lighting, and dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it offers a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic glass roof.
The international-spec e6 is available with two battery pack options: a 55.4 kWh battery paired with a 163 PS electric motor, and a 71.8 kWh battery paired with a 204 PS electric motor. The latter offers a claimed range of 530 km and supports vehicle-to-load capabilities.
