Mahindra XEV 7e Leaked: Electric XUV700 Unveiled

Mahindra XEV 7e

Mahindra is electrifying its popular XUV700 SUV, and leaked presentation slides have revealed key details about the upcoming XEV 7e. This all-electric SUV, previously showcased as the XUV.e8 concept, is set to make its official debut at the Auto Expo 2025 on January 17th.

Design and Styling

The XEV 7e retains the overall SUV silhouette of the XUV700 but boasts a distinct electric vehicle aesthetic. Key design highlights include a sleek connected light bar, inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, and vertically stacked headlights. The side profile features a cleaner look with flush door handles and aerodynamically designed alloy wheels. At the rear, wraparound taillights provide a familiar touch, while the signature Mahindra infinity logo graces both the front grille and rear.

Tech-Forward Interior

The XEV 7e’s interior is a testament to modern luxury, featuring a minimalist yet sophisticated design. A standout feature is the impressive triple-screen dashboard, offering a 43-inch display for infotainment, driver instrumentation, and passenger entertainment. Premium touches like a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, piano black accents, and an Ivory White interior theme with grey highlights create an upscale ambiance.

Powerful Performance and Long Range

Built on Mahindra’s advanced INGLO platform, the XEV 7e is expected to feature a powerful dual-motor setup with all-wheel drive capabilities. Two battery pack options are likely – 59 kWh and 79 kWh – similar to the XEV 9e, offering a claimed range of up to 650 kilometers.

Launch and Competition

The XEV 7e will be officially launched later this year, following its unveiling at the Auto Expo 2025. Priced competitively at an estimated Rs 20.9 lakh (ex-showroom), the XEV 7e will directly compete with the upcoming Tata Safari EV, offering a compelling three-row electric SUV option for Indian consumers.
