Kia has unveiled the facelifted version of its EV6 electric SUV at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Bookings for the updated model are now open, with the official launch and pricing details to be announced in March. Unlike its Hyundai counterpart, the Ioniq 5, which is assembled locally in India, the new EV6 will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
The 2025 EV6 retains the overall shape of its predecessor but incorporates several design enhancements. These include revised headlights, a redesigned front bumper, new alloy wheels, and a subtly refreshed rear fascia, resulting in a sharper and more modern appearance. Interior updates include a new steering wheel, a larger 12.3-inch central touchscreen, and upgraded interior materials.

Powertrain and Range
Kia is offering the EV6 in India exclusively in the GT-Line trim. Powered by an 84kWh battery pack, the EV6 boasts a claimed range of 650 kilometers on a single charge. Two electric motors – one on each axle – deliver a combined output of 325 horsepower and 605 Nm of peak torque. The EV6 supports 350kW peak charging speeds, enabling a 10-80% charge in approximately 18 minutes.
