Honda has officially commenced bookings for its highly anticipated electric scooters, the Activa e: and QC1, across key Indian cities. Customers can now reserve their preferred model at authorized dealerships with a nominal booking fee of Rs 1,000.
The Activa e:, positioned as Honda’s flagship electric offering, boasts a contemporary design and a comprehensive feature set, including a Bluetooth-enabled TFT display for navigation, incoming call alerts, and more. Powered by a pair of swappable 1.5kWh batteries, the Activa e: delivers a claimed range of 102 km on a full charge. The scooter’s 6kW motor ensures brisk acceleration, reaching 60 km/h in just 7.3 seconds, while offering three riding modes for varied riding styles.
The QC1, designed for budget-conscious buyers, is equipped with a 1.8kW BLDC motor and offers two riding modes. While offering a more affordable option, the QC1 prioritizes practicality and efficiency with a focus on urban commuting.
Honda will soon unveil the official pricing for both the Activa e: and QC1, with deliveries anticipated to commence in February. This strategic move by Honda marks a significant step towards expanding its presence in the burgeoning Indian electric two-wheeler market.
