BYD Sealion 7 Exceeds 1,000 Bookings Milestone

BYD India has announced a strong start for its newest electric SUV, the Sealion 7, with over 1,000 bookings already registered. The Sealion 7 is available in two trims: Premium and Performance, with prices starting at ₹48.9 lakh (ex-showroom).

Both variants of the Sealion 7 are equipped with an 82.56kWh battery pack and are offered with either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). The Premium variant, the entry-level model, boasts a claimed range of 567km on a single charge. The Performance version, while offering a slightly shorter range of 542km, delivers significantly more power, generating 523bhp and 690Nm of peak torque.

Despite the performance difference, both Sealion 7 variants share a comprehensive suite of standard features. These include a 15.6-inch infotainment system, a digital instrument panel, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 12-speaker sound system, a panoramic glass roof, a wireless charger, Level 2 Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, and a driver fatigue monitoring system. Safety is also a priority, with 11 airbags included as standard equipment across both trims.
