BattRE LOEV+ E-Scooter Launched at ₹70,000

Jaipur-based electric vehicle startup BattRE Electric Mobility has launched its new high-speed electric scooter, the LOEV+. Priced at ₹69,999 (ex-showroom), the LOEV+ is available at select dealerships across India. The company, which boasts a presence in 21 states with over 400 touchpoints, will be releasing further details regarding bookings and deliveries shortly.

The LOEV+ sports a dual-lamp headlight setup with an LED daytime running light. It comes in five color options: Starlight Blue, Stormy Grey, Ice Blue, Midnight Black, and Pearl White. While the design is functional, it shares visual similarities with several other electric scooters on the market, many of which are Chinese-designed and assembled in India.

Powering the LOEV+ is a 2kWh Amaron battery, which can be fully charged in just under three hours using the included 13 Amp charger. Both the battery and charger are IP67-rated for water and dust resistance, and come with a three-year warranty.

The LOEV+ offers three riding modes: Eco, Comfort, and Sports. Eco mode limits the top speed to 35kmph and offers a claimed range of 90km. Comfort mode increases the top speed to 48kmph with a range of 75km, while Sports mode allows for a top speed of 60kmph but reduces the range to 60km.

The scooter features all-LED lighting and a digital instrument console displaying essential information such as range and battery level. Other notable features include cruise control, hill hold assist, and a parking mode to prevent unintended acceleration.

The LOEV+ rides on 12-inch wheels and features disc brakes at both the front and rear, enhanced by a combined braking system (CBS).
