The company has also announced plans to launch a 3503 variant in the future. Originally introduced in 2020, the Chetak has been a significant player in the electric scooter segment, and the 2024 update brings notable improvements in the powertrain, features, and overall performance, aiming to make this iteration “the best Chetak yet.”

Design Highlights

The 2024 Bajaj Chetak retains its signature neo-classical design, featuring a robust metallic body that exudes timeless elegance. It sports a circular LED headlamp with a daytime running light (DRL) and an apron integrated with sleek turn indicators. A prominent Chetak badge at the center and other refined elements enhance its modern aesthetics. Practical updates include a longer floorboard and an 80 mm increase in the length of its single-piece seat for added comfort. Improved Powertrain and Performance

Built on a newly developed platform, the updated Chetak now accommodates a larger battery and extended dimensions. It is powered by a 3.5 kWh battery pack paired with a 4 kW electric motor, enabling a top speed of 73 km/h. The scooter boasts an impressive range of over 150 km per charge, with a real-world range of approximately 125 km. Charging is convenient, thanks to a 950-watt onboard charger that replenishes the battery from 0 to 80% in just three hours.

With its blend of classic design, modern features, and improved performance, the 2024 Bajaj Chetak is poised to strengthen its position as a leading electric scooter in India.
