Jeep has introduced a more affordable entry-level model for its all-electric 2025 Wagoneer S. Debuting at the Chicago Motor Show, the “Limited” trim offers a $5,000 price reduction compared to the previously available Launch Edition. The Wagoneer S Limited starts at $66,995 (including the $1,795 destination fee), a decrease from the Launch Edition’s $71,995 price tag. It’s worth noting, however, that the Launch Edition is currently offered with a $3,000 discount until March.
Previously, the Wagoneer S was only available as the fully-loaded Launch Edition, boasting a 600-hp electric motor, a McIntosh 1,200-watt sound system, and a large touchscreen infotainment system. The Limited trim marks a shift towards a more modular approach, offering fewer standard features in exchange for a lower price.

A notable change is the power output. While the Limited model shares the same dual-motor, four-wheel-drive hardware as the Launch Edition, its power is capped at 500 hp. To unlock the full 600 hp, customers will need to purchase an over-the-air “Propulsion Boost Package” upgrade. This also impacts the 0-60 mph time, which drops from the Launch Edition’s 3.4 seconds to “under four seconds” for the Limited.

The Limited trim makes the McIntosh audio system and front passenger screen optional. However, it introduces new Hydro Blue and Arctic Grey color options. Standard features include a dual-pane sunroof, 20-inch alloy wheels, 10-way heated seats, and over 170 safety features. The Selec-Terrain 4xe traction management system is also standard, offering various driving modes for different terrains.

While official range figures for the Limited haven’t been released, the lower standard power output suggests a potential improvement over the Launch Edition’s 300-mile range. All Wagoneer S models can be fast-charged from 20-80% in 23 minutes and come with either a Level 2 home charger or public charging credits through Stellantis’ Free2move ecosystem.

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is available for order online and will soon arrive at dealerships. The $66,995 starting MSRP includes the $1,795 destination fee. The 2025 Wagoneer S also qualifies for Inflation Reduction Act lease EV credits.
