Westcott Designs has taken the already capable Toyota Land Cruiser and transformed it into a formidable off-road racing machine. This custom build, showcased at the 2023 SEMA Show, is designed to conquer the challenging terrain of the Baja 500.
The Land Cruiser’s exterior has been dramatically altered. A striking glossy black paint job, accented with a satin PPF, gives the SUV a unique and eye-catching appearance. The addition of 17-inch Innovate Racing G700 wheels with a gold finish and 37-inch Toyo Open Country NTR Desert Race tires further enhances the off-road capabilities.
Under the hood, the Land Cruiser retains its powerful engine, but the real magic lies in the suspension upgrades. A new multi-link suspension system with Fox shocks and billet aluminum linkages provides exceptional articulation and travel, allowing the SUV to tackle rough terrain with ease.
To improve visibility during night driving, Westcott has equipped the Land Cruiser with a plethora of LED lights, including a roof-mounted light bar and additional lights mounted below the front grille. A new fuel cell with dual fuel fillers adds to the vehicle’s off-road endurance.
Inside, the cabin features Sparco Evo S QRT racing seats with five-point harnesses, providing both comfort and safety. The interior is further enhanced with leather upholstery and gold stitching.
This custom Land Cruiser is a testament to Westcott Designs’ expertise in off-road vehicle customization. It’s a stunning example of how a capable SUV can be transformed into a true desert racing machine.
